Swim Lessons

Ages 3-4

This group is for younger swimmers who are permitted to use the main pool. We ask that all children be potty trained. In this lesson, children will learn basic water safety. The lesson meets three times per week for a half hour each session. It is strongly recommended the children attend every session. The more consistent the lessons, the better off they will be.

Ages 5-6

This group is for younger swimmers who have not yet passed their swim test. Here children will begin by learning basic water safety. We will progress onto learning some of the basics of swimming and treading water. The lesson meets three times per week for a half hour each session. It is strongly recommended the children attend every session. The more consistent the lessons, they better off they will be.

Ages 7-8

This group is for children who have not yet passed their swim test. The goal of this group is to have all children pass their swim test by the last lesson. Children learn the basics of swimming and treading water. The lesson meets three times per week for a half hour each session. It is strongly recommended the children attend every session. The more consistent the lessons, the better off they will be.

 

*We ask that only children who have not passed their swim test enroll in swim lessons. The purpose of the free swim lessons is to develop water safety skills and progress to pass their swim test. Children who have passed their swim test are welcome to try out for the swim team, please consult the swim team bulletin board at the pool.

Swim lessons will start Monday, June 24th and will be every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. They will be held in the 3 foot of the main pool.

Guppies(ages 3-4): 8:30am-9:00am
Tadpoles(ages 5-6): 9:00am-9:30am
Frogs(ages 7-8): 9:30am-10:00am
